Brock employees are in for a sweet treat this month with a chocolate-themed meditation session.
The lunchtime wellness event is one of several resources highlighted in the March employee wellness calendar prepared by the University’s Health Management team.
Chocolate meditation will take place online Wednesday, March 16 from noon to 12:30 p.m. and will lead participants through active meditation by focusing on eating a piece of chocolate or other food. Register via Focus on Learning.
Also included in this month’s wellness calendar is a reminder to participate in a year-long initiative to make kindness the norm. The theme for the March workplace kindness calendar is self-awareness and self-love, and includes suggestions such as accepting compliments with gratitude, taking a nap and advocating for oneself.
