Brock faculty encouraged to write for The Conversation Canada

With articles by Brock University researchers and scholars garnering more than 3.1 million reads in The Conversation Canada, a recent workshop aimed to encourage new and returning contributors to the daily online publication.

Articles that appear on The Conversation’s website, which offers public analysis and exploratory journalism from academics, are frequently picked up by local, national and international media.

To increase the number of faculty contributors, Brock invited Scott White, The Conversation Canada CEO and Editor-in-Chief, to give a workshop March 2 describing the independent online publication, how to get involved and tips on writing effective story pitches and articles.

Faculty are encouraged to watch the workshop online and read the Quick Guide to Writing for The Conversation Canada.
