How to access campus during holiday break

Brock University’s holiday break will take place from noon on Friday, Dec. 24 until 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 4. Administrative offices and various other areas of campus will be closed during that time. Further changes to schedules across the University may also continue until classes resume on Monday, Jan. 10.

From Saturday, Dec. 25 to Monday, Jan. 3, all exterior doors to the University on the main campus, east campus and Marilyn I. Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts, including proxy/swipe card access will be locked with the following exception:

Daily, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. the Rankin Family Pavilion will be unlocked to allow access for those who need to enter the University. Those entering the University will need to provide Brock identification and sign in/out at the Rankin Family Pavilion desk, calling security if exiting the University from another exterior door, this for their own safety should an emergency arise.

Students in need of mental health supports during this time can access counselling and resources no matter the time of day through the My SSP mobile app, which can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play. They can also call Brock’s crisis hotline at 1-833-276-2533.
