International students continue to be welcome at Brock University

Brock University is reassuring international students that they continue to be welcome on campus this fall after reports indicated the Ontario government had asked the federal government to exclude study permit holders from entering the province.

The provincial government has since clarified that these reports are untrue, and international students continue to be able to enter the province as usual.

“International students are an incredibly important part of the Brock University community,” says Camille Rutherford, Vice-Provost, Strategic Partnerships and International. “I want to reassure them that they continue to be welcome here, and that we’re looking forward to welcoming them to campus in person in the fall.”

Brock is planning a return to campus for the Fall Term, with classes offered primarily on campus and residence, dining and campus life services returning to normal operations.
