Canada Games teaching and learning opportunities to be highlighted at upcoming event

Members of the Brock community are invited to join Brock-Canada Games Academic Committee members, Canada Games Teaching and Learning Grant recipients, faculty and staff for an upcoming session focused on assessment design.

The virtual event, which will take place Monday, April 12 from 11 a.m. to noon, will showcase course innovations that have harnessed Canada Games content and themes to enhance student engagement and learning.

Those in attendance will hear presentations from Associate Professor of History Elizabeth Vlossak and Part-time Instructor of Modern Languages Teresa Russo about current projects in their own courses. The group will then take part in breakout discussions about Canada Games course options and assessment ideas related to the Canada Games grant. This will be followed by an overview of the Canada Games Teaching and Learning Grants criteria.
