Tax law trailblazer to speak at rescheduled Women in Leadership event

A rescheduled Women in Leadership event will see guest speaker Angela Salvatore (BA ’02) discuss her path to the top as the first female chair of the Ontario Bar Association Tax Section.

Salvatore, a Niagara native and Sociology graduate, will return to Brock virtually on Tuesday, Dec. 8 to share the non-traditional route she took to tax law. She will also discuss the importance of transferrable skills, networking and outreach, and being involved in one’s legal community.

The session was originally scheduled for Nov. 24.

The Women in Leadership initiative aims to support women in formal and informal leadership positions and to encourage the next generation of potential women leaders. All women and allies are invited to attend. Faculty and staff from Brock’s Law Plus program are particularly encouraged to participate in this session.
