Brock community encouraged to use the COVID-19 screening tool before entering campus

To ensure the safety of the Brock community, all students, faculty and staff are encouraged to use the Brock University COVID-19 Screening Tool before coming to campus.

The self-assessment test must be completed by those who have been given permission and are authorized to use a Brock facility or to undertake a University activity in an off-campus location. To enter one of the controlled-access points on campus, results from the test must be displayed and a new self-assessment must be completed each day someone needs to enter a Brock facility.

The app does not store any personal information, but allows those entering campus to answer in advance the questions that will be asked at the campus entry points in the Rankin Family Pavilion or the Cairns Research Complex.

To conduct a self-assessment, download the Brock Safety app. Once downloaded, click on the ‘COVID-19 Self-Assessment/Information’ section to read more about Brock’s role in slowing the spread of the virus and to start the self-assessment.

Alternatively, visit Brock’s COVID-19 website to begin the self-assessment at brocku.ca/coronavirus

If the screening results recommend the individual should not be permitted entry or if they are showing any symptoms, Brock asks that they please self-isolate and contact a primary health-care provider or Niagara Region Public Health for an assessment, treatment or support.

While this tool has been created with the help of Niagara Region Public Health, it is intended solely to assist in keeping the Brock community safe, but does not provide medical advice.
