Brock’s Registrar appointed to new AVP role

Things are about to get busier for Geraldine Jones. After serving the past four years as University Registrar, Jones has taken on a new, larger portfolio as University Registrar and Associate Vice-President, Enrolment Services.

In creating the new role, the University is adding responsibility for Brock’s enrolment management to a portfolio that already includes undergraduate admissions, Brock Central, Central Academic Advising, curriculum management, academic calendar, Convocation, student records and systems, scheduling and exams and undergraduate domestic recruitment.

The appointment was announced by Greg Finn, Brock’s Provost and Vice-President, Academic.

“We are very fortunate to have resources like Geraldine and her team at Brock,” said Finn. “She strengthens our senior team, which is critical as we continue to innovate and take progressive operational steps in what is a critical year, not just for Brock but for all universities.”

Jones said she is excited to have the new opportunity.

“I’m grateful to have had the chance to work with so many colleagues and mentors over the years, who have helped me to grow and learn,” she said. “And now I get to take these skills and talents and continue to give back to the community that I have benefited so much from.”
