Mental health summit to address graduate student supports

On Thursday, Feb. 13, the Faculty of Graduate Studies, in partnership with Student Wellness and Accessibility Services and the Graduate Students’ Association, is hosting Mental Health Matters, a mental health summit for graduate students.

The event is an opportunity to engage in open discussion about the mental health needs of graduate students at Brock. Students will be invited to share feedback, experiences and concerns regarding graduate student mental health on campus, as well as to work together to brainstorm possible solutions.

The event, exclusive to graduate students, is taking place in Sankey Chambers from 1 to 4 p.m. Pre-registration is required. Please RSVP online.

Event organizers note that the summit is not facilitated by trained mental health professionals and is not intended to be a support or group therapy session, but rather an opportunity to discuss mental health supports and concerns.
