Wet weather no worry for Wellness Day

Mother Nature may not be co-operating for Brock’s Employee Wellness Day Thursday, June 20, but the show will go on as planned.

Record participation is expected for this year’s slate of Wellness Day sessions taking place both on and off campus.

A few sessions have been moved indoors such as paddleboarding, which will now be held in Brock’s Eleanor Misener Aquatic Centre. The extremely popular goat yoga session will remain outdoors, but under a tent. Information on location changes for any of the sessions will be sent in advance to those registered.

The weather has forced the cancellation of the weekly Backyard BBQ, which was going to host the Wellness Day lunch, so that part of the day will now be held in Market Hall with live music from local artist Gavin Ray.

Registration starts at 8 a.m. and the opening plenary will be held at 8:40 a.m. in Sean O’Sullivan Theatre.
