Teens test Brock labs during Scientifically Yours

They cracked murder mysteries, tested their cold tolerance and prepared ancient fish fossil specimens — all in the name of science.

About 60 students from Ontario high schools spent two days in Brock University’s labs, taking part in a variety of activities during the 30th annual Scientifically Yours conference.

Presented by Brock’s Faculty of Mathematics and Science, the event, held Thursday, May 9 and Friday, May 10, aimed to showcase potential post-secondary pathways and future careers in science-related fields.
