The following is a list of thesis defences taking place at Brock from Jan. 21 to 25.

All are open for the University community to attend.

PhD in Educational Studies dissertation defence

Education student Sean-Jason Schat will defend the dissertation “Exploring Adolescent Student Perceptions and Experiences of Educational Care” on Monday, Jan. 21 at 2 p.m. in WH 147.

The examination committee includes Heather Gordon, Chair; Graham McDonough, External Examiner (University of Victoria); Heather Chalmers, Internal Examiner; Trevor Norris, Supervisor; and Nancy Fenton (McMaster University), Glenn Rideout (University of Windsor) and Gerald Watson (Lakehead University), Committee Members.

Applied Disability Studies MA thesis defence

Applied Disabilities Studies student Jordan Hoath will defend the thesis “The Cycle of Abuse for Individuals to Intellectual Disabilities Who Engage in Sexually Offending Behaviour” on Friday, Jan. 25 at 11 a.m. in TH 150.

The examination committee includes Frances Owen, Chair; Voula Marinos, External Examiner (Associate Professor in the Department of Child and Youth Studies, Brock University); Rosemary Condillac, Supervisor; Maurice Feldman, Graduate Program Director; and Dorothy Griffiths and Jan Frijters, Committee Members.
