Goodman Departmental Researcher of the Year to present this week

Dirk De Clerq, a leading organizational and entrepreneurial studies scholar with the Goodman School of Business, will be sharing his work at a public presentation Friday, Jan. 11.

This week’s Goodman Luncheon Speaker Series will feature De Clerq, Professor of Management, as he shares his research on understanding the drivers and outcomes of people’s entrepreneurial behaviours in the context of both young and established organizations.

De Clerq is the latest recipient of the Goodman’s Departmental Researcher of the Year award for the Organizational Behaviour, Human Resources, Entrepreneurship and Ethics Department, based on his recent research contributions.

De Clercq will present his paper “Tenacity, workplace adversity and problem-focused voice” on Friday, Jan. 11.

The talk will run from 12:30 to 2 p.m. in Goodman School of Business Room 205. Goodman faculty, staff and graduate students are invited to attend. The speaker series provides an informal opportunity to listen to and discuss recent advances in research, teaching and practices with business colleagues.
