BUFS season continues with Let the Sunshine In

The second offering in the Brock University Film Society’s fall season, Let the Sunshine In, promises an evening of humour and passion on Thursday, Sept. 27.

Isabelle (Juliette Binoche) is a recently divorced 50-something artist searching for a connection. As she tries to find comfort in the arms of an array of men, she ponders just what she’s seeking, and whether sex and companionship are the keys to fulfilment.

Binoche delivers “one of her finest and most subtly calibrated performances,” in this “wistful grown-up romantic comedy,” according to the Washington Post.

For more than 40 years, the Department of Communication, Popular Culture and Film has hosted the film society (previously known as a series) to bring some of the best in independent, international and Canadian cinema to St. Catharines.

Tickets are available at the Film House on the evening of screenings. General admission is $9 or $7 for members, plus tax. Memberships are available through the Film House website.
