Thesis defences — Aug. 20 to 24

The following is a list of thesis defences taking place at Brock from Aug. 20 to 24.

All are open for the University community to attend.

Child and Youth Studies MA thesis defence

Child and Youth Studies student Camille Xinmei Rousseau will defend the thesis “Turning the Page for Spot: Exploring the Potential of Therapy Dogs to Support Reading Motivation and Positive Reading Behaviours among Young Children” on Aug. 21 at 10 a.m. in CRN 336.

The examination committee includes Dawn Zinga, Chair; Lynn Dempsey, External Examiner (Brock University); Christine Tardif-Williams, Supervisor; and Jan Frijters and John McNamara, Committee Members.

Kinesiology MSc thesis defence

Faculty of Applied Health Sciences student Kyle Johnson will defend the thesis “Emotional, Cognitive, and Postural Adaptations to Repeated Postural Threat Exposure” on Friday, Aug. 24, 2018 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Walker Complex 203.  

The examination committee members are Allan Adkin, Supervisor; Craig Tokuno and Mark Carpenter, Advisory Committee; Michael Cinelli, Wilfrid Laurier University; and Kimberley Gammage, Chair.
