Thesis defences — Dec. 4 to 8

The following is a list of thesis defences taking place at Brock from Dec. 4 to 8.

All are open for the University community to attend.

Geography MA thesis defence

Geography student Andrew McCartan will defend the thesis, “Glasgow’s Queer Battleground” on Monday, Dec. 4 at 10 a.m. in WH 147.

The examination committee includes Angela Book, Chair; Linda Peake, External Examiner (York University); Catharine Nash, Supervisor; Ebru Ustandag, Graduate Program Director; and Phil Mackintosh, Committee Member.

Psychology MA thesis defence

Psychology student Bradey Alcock will defend the thesis, “Navigating the Complex Interactions between Pre-Injury Characteristics and Post-Injury Outcomes Following Mild Head Injury: Does Trait Mindfulness Play a Role?” on Friday, Dec. 8 at 9 a.m. in PL 600 F.

The examination committee includes Adya Tekok-Kilic, Chair; Alexandra J. Fiocco, External Examiner (Ryerson University); Dawn Good, Supervisor; and Karen Arnell and Kathy Belicki, Committee Members.
