Goodman names new Associate Dean, Research and Grad programs

Marketing and Product Innovation professor Narongsak (Tek) Thongpapanl has been named the new Associate Dean, Research and Graduate Programs, for Brock’s Goodman School of Business.

Thongpapanl recently returned from co-chairing the annual Academy of Marketing Science conference in California, which attracts top scholars from around the world. In 2016, he was awarded the University of Canterbury’s Erskine Fellowship, and joined a list of distinguished honorees who had been awarded with this fellowship in the various fields of commerce, engineering and science.

In addition to his role as Chair of Goodman’s Marketing, International Business and Strategy Department, Thongpapanl is an active researcher whose work has been published in leading management and business journals. He also serves as an editorial board member and a reviewer for a variety of scholarly journals.

Since he joined Brock in 2005, he has also been working with MSc and PhD students both here and abroad who share the same research interest and passion.

Thongpapanl’s three-year term began on July 1.
