Brock mourns deaths of two Goodman grads

Brock alumni and others in the University community, especially from the Goodman School of Business, are mourning the tragic deaths of two popular graduates who drowned on Saturday (July 8) at Wasaga Beach, Ont.

Nimit Sharma (BAcc ’13) and Dilvinder Lakhanpal (BBA ’12) lost their lives after their inflatable raft overturned in rough water near the mouth of the Nottawasaga River.

“We are shocked and extremely saddened to learn of this tragedy involving two of our bright young graduates,” said Barry Wright, acting Dean of the business school.

“On behalf of their professors and fellow graduates from the Goodman School, we send our heartfelt condolences to their loved ones.”
