Parking changes coming for Convocation week

Spring Convocation ceremonies will impact parking on campus next week.

Members of the Brock community can expect delays when coming onto campus due to an influx of vehicle and pedestrian traffic from Monday, June 5 to Friday, June 9.

University Road West will be closed from the intersection of Isaac Brock Boulevard West with very limited access.

There will be no vehicle access to lots Q, F, R and P and the parallel parking spaces in front of Academic South will be inaccessible.

As the tent used for Convocation will be located in Lot B, permit holders for that lot are directed to part in Reserved A or Zone 1.

Transit will also be relocated for the week and will instead be stopping alongside Lot D.

Parking will be free for guests all week everywhere on campus.

Lot D, S, and Lot Reserved B are accessible to Convocation guests only. Attendees will also be directed to park in Zone 1 and Zone 2.

Students and staff should park in their regular permit lots, unless otherwise directed by Parking Services staff. Other closures include Ian Beddis and Bob Davis gymnasiums, as well as the track for the duration of the week.

Regular routines and access to facilities will resume on Saturday, June 10.
