The Brock community is invited to Tuesday’s panel event discussing women in business and providing alumni with an opportunity to learn from and interact with a group of dynamic and prolific business leaders.

Hosted by the Goodman Alumni Network, a group of engaged alumni from Brock’s Goodman School of Business, Breaking the Glass Ceiling: A conversation with women who are leading the way will bring together four successful business leaders who will talk about their careers in business and lessons they learned along the way.

The panel is comprised of Martine Irman, Vice Chair, TD Securities and Senior Vice President, TD Bank Group; Rhonda Klosler (BBA ’93), CPA, Chief Operating Officer, Collins Barrow LLP; and Deborah Rosati (BAcc ’84), FCPA, FCA, ICD.D, Corporate Director and Co-founder of Women Get On Board.

Irman is this year’s recipient of the Goodman School of Business Distinguished Leader award. A graduate of Western University, she has also completed The Wharton Business School Advanced Management Executive Program and the Rotman School of Management Institute of Corporate Directors and holds an ICD.D certification. In 2003, her leadership and excellence was recognized by Canada’s Top 40 Under 40 and honoured by Women in Capital Markets with an award for leadership in 2013.

As Chief Operating Officer of Collins Barrow Toronto and a member of the firm’s Management Committee, Klosler oversees the practice’s management, operations and business development initiatives. She is a graduate of the Goodman School of Business and is a CPA, CA, having earned her designation in 1993. That same year, she joined Collins Barrow, and was made a partner in 2001. In 2012, she completed the Harvard Business School Professional Services program.

Rosati is an accomplished corporate director and entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience in technology, consumer and retail, and private equity and venture capital. Rosati is leading and serving Corporate Director and Chair of the Nominating & Corporate Governance Committee for Sears Canada, Corporate Director and Chair of the Audit Committee for NexJ Systems and is a member of the Department Audit Committee for Correctional Services Canada. She was selected as a Diversity 50 2014 candidate and recognized in 2012 as one of WXN’s Top 100 Canada’s Most Powerful Women in the corporate director award category.

Jennifer Reynolds, President and CEO, Women in Capital Markets, is the keynote speaker and Barry Wright, Interim Dean of the Goodman School of Business, will moderate the panel discussion.

The event is taking place Tuesday, Nov. 1 from 6 – 8:30 p.m. at St. Andrew’s Club and Conference Centre, 150 King St. W., 16^th Floor, in Toronto. $15 tickets (includes two drinks and light refreshments) are available by cash at the door.
