Good Morning Goodman continues this week with co-hosts Susan LeBlanc and Najlaa Rauf announcing that Goodman students in their final year of study are invited to Get Ready Goodman which will take place on April 21. This inaugural event includes a full day of programming with career development modules and information students need to know as they get ready to leave university and begin their careers. Registration is open on CareerZone.
LeBlanc and Rauf wish luck to the Goodman students who are getting ready to travel to Washington, D.C. to compete internationally at DECA’s International Career Development Conference from April 16-19 and congratulate Brock graduate Daniel Bordenave (Bkin ’11, MSc ’15) and Brock students Harrison Olajos and Madi Fuller on winning awards at BioLinc’s Blueprint competition for their innovative business ideas.
The Brock University Accounting Conference is currently hiring an IT Design Director for next year’s team. This position involves assisting with the website and photography and is a great way to get involved in this annual competition which brings together accounting students from all over Canada.
Other volunteer positions for the upcoming year include a business peer mentor in the Department of Residence’s Living Learning Communities program.
