Tania Berges

Tania Berges is a parking lot attendant for Parking Services. She has worked at Brock since 1988. Working from a booth at D lot, she fields numerous questions unrelated to parking, including giving directions and recommending restaurants. Her mother, Mary, has worked in custodial services for more than 30 years and will retire in September.

What do you like about the job?

The people. I hear so many stories, and I’ve been here for so long that I have a lot of regulars. I see older people coming for aquatic fitness classes and I get to know their stories. I see students from their first year to their graduation day.

What do you do for fun?

Collecting vinyl records, going to auctions and hanging out with my friends.

Where did you go on your last vacation?

My sister and I had a sister week and went up to a campground in Barry’s Bay for a week.
