Despite construction in Jubilee Court, the first Brock Farmer’s Market proceeded as scheduled on Friday.

The outdoor market, which happens every Friday from June until the end of September, features 19 vendors this year, six more than last year.

Wares available in the courtyard include fresh baking, produce, preserves and crafts. Brock Dining Services is serving lunch at the market again this year.

Construction crews are replacing a failed sewer line in Jubilee Court. Starting June 14, crews will bore a new sanitary line under MacKenzie Chown toward the Plaza building. Noise and vibration disruptions will continue for buildings in close proximity, particularly MacKenzie Chown A block. The work will take at least three weeks.
