Massage therapy available through Student Health Services

Faculty and staff are welcome to book massage therapy appointments at Student Health Services for Wednesdays from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. during May and June.

The registered massage therapist performing them is Jeanne Pawluk, who completed the three-year dual degree program of massage and sports injury therapy at the Canadian Therapeutic College. Pawluk works with the Brock rowing team, and fulfilled her field and clinical placement requirements with Brock’s rowing and figure skating teams.

Pawluk has also completed post-graduate courses in soft tissue release and is full-body certified in active release techniques. She also uses techniques in strain counter strain and myofascial release. She is currently employed with a local chiropractor providing therapeutic massage, and performs independent massage assessments for insurance companies.

She also volunteers at the St. Catharines Henley rowing course as their medical co-ordinator.

The massages cost $40 per half hour or $60 per hour, payable by cash or cheque.
