Shaw Festival’s playwright-in-residence to speak at Brock

The Shaw Festival’s playwright-in-residence will be a guest speaker at Brock on March 23.

Jovanni Sy will be an invited speaker of the History and Drama Collaboration Project, sponsored by the Departments of Dramatic Arts and History. In “Defining Myths”, the writer, director and actor will describe his work as playwright-in-residence and discuss the role of drama in forming a narrative of nationhood.

The public presentation will be at 6 p.m. March 23 in TH245 in the Thistle Complex. It is part of the History and the Work of the Playwright Series.
