This week, we will take a look at our partner school Kozminski University, located in Warsaw, Poland.
Why go to Kozminski?
Kozminski University is one of the top universities in Europe and is accredited by AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA. Since 2009, Kozminski has been classified in the prestigious rankings provided by The Financial Times Business School Rankings and holds first place throughout private universities in educational rankings for the past 16 consecutive years. Kozminski also received a special distinction from the National Accreditation Committee in regards to management, administration, and law programs.
Students wishing to go to Kozminski University also have the opportunity to go on a scholarship. The scholarship includes return airfare to Warsaw and 750 Euros per month (approx. $1100 CAD per month), which will cover accommodation and most living expenses for students. This leaves plenty of room for students to travel and spend their money on other opportunities. Study programs at Kozminski are also conducted with employers like Citibank and KGHM, which naturally offer great networking possibilities.
Why Poland?
Poland is located in Eastern Europe on the Baltic Sea, and it neighbours countries such as Germany and Czech Republic. It is famous for its medieval architecture, culture, and history. Students will be studying in Warsaw (the capital of Poland), which will provide more comfort to students who have limited knowledge of the Polish language, as there are more English speakers and more English translation available. The local currency is the Polish zloty ($100 CAD is approximately 300 zloty) but some establishments accept euros.
Studying in Poland on a scholarship can allow students to travel a lot more to many different places like Prague, Budapest, Berlin, and London – all on a budget! There are affordable airlines and transportation available that make this the perfect opportunity for those wishing to travel. There are also plenty of historical sites, cities, and cuisine to experience in Poland alone.
