Why Germany? Germany is centrally located in Europe, and for those of you wanting to travel while on your exchange – it’s the perfect place to be! The Deutche Bahn (http://www.deutschebahn.com/en/start/) can take you anywhere and everywhere you want to be all at a relatively low cost! While in Germany, you can visit one of the many festivals like Oktoberfest during the Fall semester and “Tanz In Den Mai” a celebration of spring in the Winter semester and immerse yourself in the amazing culture. Compared with other European countries, the cost of living in Germany for the most part is very affordable including: accommodation, groceries, and transportation – very student friendly.
