Students connect with store owners at annual job fair

Brock and Niagara College students will head to the Pen Centre on Sept. 14 for the annual Shop for Jobs job fair.

More than 45 stores are expected to participate in the fair, which runs from 12 noon to 6 p.m. Students in search of part-time work walk around the mall, resumes to hand, to speak with representatives from participating stores. Sometimes there are on-the-spot interviews.

Students who visit Brock’s community booth can fill out a ballot to win a $100 Pen Centre gift certificate.

For more information on the event, contact Lisa Kuiper, employer development co-ordinator, at lkuiper@brocku.ca. For a list of participating stores, visit Career Services.
