Pianist takes stage in cultural leader series

Leading Canadian pianist Robert Silverman will be tickling the ivories in the latest Walker Cultural Leader Series lecture and recital.

Silverman, also a professor emeritus at the University of British Columbia, will present Hammering the Klavier: Beethoven’s Earthshaking and Bone-crushing Masterpiece at the Sean O’Sullivan Theatre on Friday, Jan. 11 at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $15 or $5 for students. Students of the Marilyn I. Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts get in free.

Walker Cultural Leader Series brings leading artists, performers, practitioners and academics to Brock University to provide learning experiences for students and the public. For more information, contact Matthew Royal in the Music Department.
