The Department of Institutional Planning & Data Governance (IPDG) is responsible for designing, implementing, and analyzing a broad range of surveys at Brock University involving students, employees, and alumni. These surveys provide valuable data that support institutional planning, decision-making, and continuous improvement.

Brock University values the voices of its students, faculty, and staff. The responses received help enhance the student experience and inform strategic priorities across the university.

National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE)

NSSE collects information from first year and final year students about the characteristics and quality of their undergraduate experience.

Ontario University Graduate Survey (OUGS)

OUGS collects data on the employment outcomes and experiences of graduates from Ontario universities two years after graduation.

Canadian University Survey Consortium (CUSC)

CUSC gathers feedback from undergraduate students on their academic experiences, student services, and overall satisfaction. It focuses on areas such as academic engagement, faculty interactions, financial support, and career preparation.

Undergraduate Student Experience Survey (USES)

USES is an annual survey that gathers feedback on various aspects of the Brock experience from final year Undergraduate students.

Canadian Graduate and Professional Student Survey (CGPSS)

CGPSS gathers feedback from graduate students on their academic experiences, professional development, and overall satisfaction.
