International Orientation is a combination of one virtual and one in-person event to prepare you for your journey and welcome you when you arrive.
Virtual Orientation

In-Person Orientation
Sunday, January 5
10:00 a.m. EDT
Our in-person orientation event is your opportunity to familiarize yourself with Brock’s beautiful campus with help from staff and student guides. Come and learn all about Brock with other new international students like you!
- Your official welcome presentation!
- Guided campus tours
- Residence move-in support
- A Service Fair where you can connect with Brock’s many departments including Brock International, Academic Advising, Student Life, Brock University Students’ Union (BUSU), Career Services, and more!
- An opportunity to shop for essentials with student guides at the nearby Pen Centre Shopping Mall

International Orientation FAQs
Students should plan to attend both orientations as they provide different information, all of which is essential to starting your term successfully.
Students can expect to receive an email in the first week of December outlining both our orientation events (virtual and in-person), along with links to the ExperienceBU events so they can RSVP.
In the 3rd week of December, you will receive an email reminder about orientation and about submitting your photo to the Card Office so that you can pick up your student card once you arrive on campus.
No, there is no dress code. Please come dressed comfortably and weather-appropriate.
