Share your summer experience for a chance to win an iPad Mini 4!

Students from more than 100 countries call Brock their home away from home. They come from all corners of the world and represent unique cultures and ways of life.

To celebrate this diversity, we’re asking ALL Brock University students to share their summer experience by posting a photo on Instagram using the hashtag #MyBrockSummer2018. Photos can be as simple as everyday life, visiting friends, and family, a summer vacation, a trip to your former high school, or an experience abroad. Creativity is encouraged, but photos must feature a Brock University branded item (shirt, sweater, hat, memorabilia, logo etc.)

The top five (5) photos will be selected by a panel of judges, and then put to a popular vote with the total number of likes received determining the top three (3) photos, and ultimately the winner of the contest.

Prizes, awarded to the top three photos, are outlined below:

• First prize:  iPad Mini 4 (M.S.R.P. $529)
• Second prize: Assortment of Brock University swag (M.S.R.P $100)
• Third prize: $20 gift card to the campus store

The contest entry deadline is 12 p.m. (noon) on August 20, 2018.

Official rules & regulations

1. The contest is open to all current students of Brock University
2. Contest entries must be posted between June 21 to August 20, 2018
3. Photos must show Brock branded item (shirt, sweater, hat, memorabilia, logo etc.)
4. Photos can take place anywhere in the world. They can be scenic views, action shots, or candid moments. Creativity is encouraged!
   1. For inspiration, consider some of the following ideas:
      1. Your summer vacation, life back at home, visiting friends and family, a trip to your former high school, an experience studying abroad etc.
5. All entries must be posted on Instagram utilizing the hashtag #MyBrockSummer2018
6. All entries must tag @BrockuIntl in their photos
7. All entrants must follow @BrockuIntl
8. Photos featuring illicit content will be disqualified from the contest (nudity, profanity or objectionable content as outlined in the Student Code of Conduct)
9. There is no limit to the number of submissions but repeat entries will be disqualified
10. By submitting your photos, you give Brock University permission to use them, along with your name and descriptions used, on all brocku.ca websites, social media platforms (such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram) and promotional material where they will be viewable for free by the general public
11. The top five (5) photos will be determined by a panel of judges between August 20 and 26
12. The five (5) photos will be put to a popular vote between August 27 at 4:00 p.m. and August 31 at 12:00 p.m.
13. The top three (3) photos will be determined by popular vote, where the number of comments a photo receives on the finalists Instagram post will determine the rank of the top three (3) winners
14. The winners will be announced during the Brock International Fall Open House on September 5
