Important details you need to know
We’ve provided some answers to questions you might have in preparation for our upcoming vendor market. If your question isn’t answered below, please contact us at [email protected] for assistance.
We recognize some vendors may require more time to set up than others. Registration for set-up will open at 9 a.m. and we ask that your space is set up by 10:30 a.m. so we can ensure the aisles are clear prior to opening to the public at 11 a.m.
Please plan to remain at the event until 4 p.m. when take-down will commence.
Please pull your vehicle into a parking spot on either the East or West side of the building for unloading. Upon arrival, locate a Brock University staff member at the North or South end of building to confirm your booth location before bringing in your merchandise. Staff will be wearing a Brock shirt with a red name tag.
Multiple staff persons will be on site to help watch merchandise while vendors park their cars after loading. Brock University is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
No, the Market Square is not equipped with Wi-Fi. If you wish to use your phone to offer tap payment collection, you will need to utilize your own data.
If you requested power in your vendor confirmation submission form, you will be provided with an accessible outlet. Please ensure to bring your own extension cord to access this power and note that the plug-in is 15 amp.
If you will need to sit behind your vendor table during this event, please bring your own lawn chair or equivalent.
Yes! Each vendor will be provided with an 8 foot table to display their products.
If you indicated that you require linens in your vendor registration form, there will be linens at your space when you arrive.
There will be two food trucks on-site with food and refreshments available for purchase.
The City of St. Catharines public washrooms will be open for use on the North side of the building, across the parking lot outside of City Hall.
Please review your Emergency Preparedness Plan for details on what to do in the event of an emergency. This document was sent to the email you provided in your application.
Payment collection is up to the responsibility of each vendor.
If you are accepting cash for purchases, you will need to provide your own cash float for change. If you are accepting credit or debit payments, please note that you will need to use mobile data as there is no Wi-Fi available in the Market Square.
