Electrophysiological studies

Cutting-edge electrophysiological studies are conducted in the Brain and Language Lab using a state-of-the-art Cortech Solutions 128 channel BioSemi EEG apparatus.

Our facility includes a shielded, sound-attenuating booth to control for electrical and auditory noise. Stimuli are presented using either E-Prime, or NBS Presentation Software; EMSE Suite software is used for data collection/processing.

Behavioural studies

Behavioural studies are also administered in the Brain and Language Lab. E-Prime software is used for programming/presenting experiments on high-end desktop PCs. Data from behavioural experiments are statistically analyzed using SPSS software/R.
