Purpose
Our goal is to include young people in our work since our research involves teens. We want to know what you think about perfectionism, anxiety, school achievement, and pressures on young people. No experience required!
Requirements
To be eligible to apply, you must…
- Be between 13 and 18 years old
- Live in the Niagara Region
- Demonstrate curiosity, creativity, and communication skills
- Be willing to commit to one in-person meeting at Brock University per month from January to May 2025 (5 month term)
- Have completed and submitted the application by December 20th, 2024

How to apply

The application will request the following information:
- Demographic information (i.e., name, email, phone number, age, race, preferred pronouns)
- Whether you have parent/guardian consent to join the PPYN (for youth under 18 years)
- Whether you are able to attend 5 in-person meetings between January and May 2025
- Why you are interested in the PPYN
- What experiences you have that demonstrate curiosity, creativity, and communication skills (i.e., at school, work, home, volunteering, extracurriculars, etc)
- What you hope to learn as a member of the PPYN
