History professor harvests leeks in historical garden

Associate Professor of History Elizabeth Vlossak took advantage of the nice weather recently to harvest the leeks in her historical garden. These leeks were planted last summer by History student Kaylin Currie as part of her medieval garden. Vlossak uses two plots in Brock University's community garden to grow historic plants with her students. The historic gardening course allows students to apply their research into historical plants and methods in the garden.
