Jasper is not the type of lab students normally visit at Brock, but he attracted quite a crowd as the puppy room returned to Pond Inlet on Monday, Jan. 29 to kick off Thrive Week at Brock University. Students Mona Ghosh, left, and Erica Wortley took some time out of their schedules to visit with Jasper, a nine-year-old chocolate Labrador who is a trained St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog. In addition to the puppy room, Thrive Week includes a series of events focused on building positive mental health. Everyone in the Brock community, including faculty, staff and students, is invited to learn positive mental health strategies by attending a Thrive event, or by using the #LetsThriveBrockU hashtag. More details and a full event schedule can be found on the Brock News.
