Paws-ing to relax

Smiles were abundant in the Welch Hall atrium on Tuesday, Feb. 4 thanks to a group of furry guests on campus. First-year Concurrent Teacher Education Student Valeria Alzate-Martinez (left) and first-year Child and Youth Studies student Madelen Baylon took a break in their day to spend time with Maggie, a red golden retriever. The visit from Therapeutic Paws of Canada was facilitated by the Faculty of Education’s Wellness Navigator Bailey O’Hagan, who supports students’ well-being and success across all areas of student life.
