First-year Oenology and Viticulture (OEVI) students started their semester off with a small networking event and guided tour of Pillitteri Estates Winery in Niagara-on-the-Lake last Saturday. Jamie Slingerland, the winery's Director of Viniculture, showed them around the winery and vineyard, and discussed the winery's different operations and possible co-op opportunities that exist for students.
