Sgt. Ross Larman, from LaSalle Quebec, and Brock University Sport Management student and Drum Major Kieran Boyle, with the Black Watch Association Pipes and Drums, stand just outside of the Menin Gate Memorial in Ypres, Belgium, on Friday, Nov. 9. The memorial bears the names of more than 54,000 soldiers who died during the First World War and have no known grave. Larman and Boyle participated in a ceremony on Sunday, Nov. 11 that marked the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War.
