Staff from Pathstone Mental Health, Niagara Health and Centre de Sante Communautaire Hamilton Niagara recently graduated from a custom Goodman Group certificate program geared towards health-care business executive management. The program, which included 26 participants, covered topics such as managing conflict, leadership and coaching for performance. Pathstone CEO Shaun Baylis praised the program's quality and its inclusion of simulation exercises that allowed participants to apply program content in a practical, hands-on manner. “Through these exercises, you were able to see how relationships play a big role in negotiations and positioning, which is no different from the real world of organizations," he said.
