Representatives from 22 local community organizations gathered at Brock on June 30 to learn more about working with student volunteers. Hosted by the Student Life and Success (SLS) team, Connecting Our Communities welcomed 35 participants for a morning of presentations on promoting volunteer opportunities, overcoming barriers to student volunteerism and creating student volunteer engagement strategies.
