The following is a list of thesis defences taking place between Monday, Nov. 17 and Friday, Nov. 21.

Master of Science in Computer Science thesis defence

Michael Eshun, a Master of Science in Computer Science candidate, will defend the thesis “Home Health Care Routing and Scheduling Problem with Genetic Algorithms” on Tuesday, Nov. 18 at 9:30 a.m. in WH 147.

Master of Science in Biotechnology thesis defence

Ishika Sharma, a Master of Science in Biotechnology candidate, will defend the thesis “Establishing Reverse Genetics Tools for Cell Fusing Agent Virus: Infectious Clone Assembly and Transfection in Mosquito Cells” on Wednesday, Nov. 19 at 1 p.m. in virtual format.

The examination committee includes Jeff Stuart, Chair; Tony Yan and Ian Patterson, Co-Supervisors; Aitor Casas-Sanchez (Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, UK), External Examiner; and Yifeng Li, Committee Member.

Master of ​Science in Applied Health Sciences (Kinesiology) thesis defence

Laura Zottl, a Master of Science in Applied Health Sciences candidate, will defend the thesis “Evaluating the Fidelity of Movement that Matters, a Co-Developed Physical Activity Intervention for Adults Managing Chronic Pain” on Monday, Nov. 17 from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. in WC 204.
