Thesis defences — Oct. 27 to Oct. 31

The following is a list of thesis defences taking place between Monday, Oct. 27 and Friday, Oct. 31.

Master of Science in Applied Health Sciences (Kinesiology) thesis defence

Sophia Nikitin, a Master of Science in Applied Health Sciences candidate, will defend the thesis “Investigating Forearm Muscle Activity Across Violin String Heights” on Monday, Oct. 27 from 9 a.m. to noon in WC 204.

The examination committee includes Bareket Falk, Chair; Michael Holmes, Supervisor; Brian Power, External Examiner (Brock University); and David Gabriel and Nicole Chimera, Committee Members.

Master of Arts in Applied Health Sciences (Community Health) thesis defence

Helen Martin, a Master of Arts in Applied Health Sciences candidate, will defend the thesis “Service Providers’ Perspectives on Abortion Access Challenges for People with Precarious Housing and Migration Status in Niagara, Ontario: An Interpretive Descriptive Study on Thursday, Oct. 30 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in STH 361.
