Celebrating community impact with Niagara councils

Brock President and Vice-Chancellor Lesley Rigg met with local municipal councils last week to celebrate successful community collaborations and highlight the ways research expertise and student talent at the University benefit Niagara residents.

These presentations to Port Colborne City Council and the Niagara Region Planning and Economic Development Committee are part of Brock’s ongoing dialogue, engagement and collaboration with Niagara’s municipalities. Rigg previously presented at Thorold City Council on June 17. During these presentations, she provided an update on the University’s recent community activity and its new Strategic Plan.
