Brock Recreation is gearing up to offer children and teens enriching adventures this summer through its popular camps.
Summer camp registration opens Wednesday, March 5 at noon.
Designed for youth from senior kindergarten to Grade 8, as well as high school students, the camps offer diverse programming in science, arts, sports, outdoor adventures, technology and more.
“Camp is where young people discover new passions, build lifelong friendships and develop skills that will help them succeed later in life,” said Hannah Dabrowski, Manager of Youth Programs. “It’s a wonderful opportunity for campers to connect with our talented student staff in a fun and welcoming environment.”
Camp options include:
- Youth University: A creative environment for exploring innovation and outdoor education across various disciplines.
- Sports School and Aquatics: Campers stay active through gym, field and aquatics centre activities.
- Badgers Sport Camps: Focused on specific sports and skill development, this camp provides training from Brock’s varsity student-athletes and coaches.
Running Monday to Friday from Wednesday, July 2 to Friday, Aug. 29, the camps provide full-day programming from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Complimentary drop-off and pick-up periods are available from 8:30 to 9 a.m. and 4 to 4:30 p.m., with extended care options from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Adjusted schedules apply during the holiday weeks, with the first session running from Wednesday to Friday after Canada Day and another shortened week from Tuesday to Friday following the Civic Holiday on Monday, Aug. 4.
