A young skater takes to the ice during last year's free community Holiday Skate. This year's event takes place Sunday, Dec. 1, from noon to 1 p.m. at the Algoma Central Arena located in Canada Games Park. The Brock community is invited to lace up their skates and hit the ice at Canada Games Park this weekend.
Brock’s Student-Athlete Leadership Council (SALC) along with Brock Sports and Recreation will host a free Holiday Skate on Sunday, Dec. 1 from noon to 1 p.m. at the Algoma Central Arena located in Canada Games Park. All participants will receive complimentary tickets to the Brock Badgers men’s hockey game against the Windsor Lancers at 2 p.m. at the Algoma Central Arena after the festive skate.
All participants are advised to wear a helmet during the festive skate. Helmets are mandatory for all children six years old and under.
While the event is free for all attendees, those who are able are encouraged to donate unwrapped toys in support of Community Care.
