Equity Census dashboard launched

Institutional Planning, Analysis and Performance (IPAP), in collaboration with People and Culture, has produced a new interactive data visualization tool to help the campus community explore the results of Brock’s annual Equity Census and learn more about diversity at Brock.

The dashboard is available to the public and allows users to explore demographic data related to Brock faculty, staff and librarians.

The information currently contained in the dashboard represents the results of last year’s equity census, from 1,323 respondents. It will be updated with new data each year.

Preliminary student data is also available and will be integrated into the dashboard as response rates increase. Student engagement in the census is vital to shaping the student experience, and work is underway to encourage more active participation in the 2024-25 survey.

This year’s Equity Census will open Wednesday, Nov. 13. Starting that day, please check your Brock email for a link to the census, which takes only two minutes to complete.

Data collected through the census is used to identify gaps in representation on campus, develop strategies for improving equity, diversity and inclusion, and track evolving demographics over time. Learn more on the Equity Census web page.
