Brock marks National Philanthropy Day with gratitude

Members of the Brock University community have come together to express a heartfelt thank you to University donors in advance of National Philanthropy Day on Friday, Nov. 15.

Through a video message, third-year Sport Management student Aryan Purkayastha and fourth-year Public Health student Olajumoke Shobowale join Lesley Rigg, President and Vice-Chancellor, and Paul Zelisko, Associate Professor and Chair in the Department of Chemistry as well as Scientific Director in the Brock-Niagara Validation, Prototyping and Manufacturing Institute, to share how donors’ unwavering support and generosity are making a profound difference in the lives of students and researchers.

Donor contributions not only enhance the student experience but also drive groundbreaking research across various fields, including health sciences, environmental sustainability and economic transformation. Their dedication fuels innovation and discovery, benefiting both the University and the broader community.
