Vendors sought for Holiday Market

Entrepreneurial students, faculty and staff are invited to share creative talents as vendors at the third annual Brock LINC Holiday Market.

The Holiday Market will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 27 and Thursday, Nov. 28 from noon to 4 p.m. on the 200 level of the Rankin Family Pavilion.

This year’s market is set to deliver an extra dose of celebration with the addition of food vendors, offering holiday shoppers a wide range of handmade products.

“Year after year, the Holiday Market seems to bring out new creators from across campus,” says Karyn Gicante, Brock LINC Innovation Program Co-ordinator. “We have a wide variety of creative talent within Brock that deserve the chance to be showcased and celebrated for their creative efforts. They truly champion the entrepreneurial community that the Brock LINC supports across campus.”

The Brock LINC encourages all makers, innovators — and now cuisine creators — with an entrepreneurial spirit to apply as vendors for the Holiday Market. Approved vendors will be provided a six-foot table, neutral linen and the opportunity to sell their homemade products at the market.

This year’s vendor lineup will include a variety of products, such as:

  • art
  • candles
  • clothing/fashion items
  • digital products
  • games or toys
  • houseware goods
  • beauty products
  • prepackaged food items such as honey, jam, baked goods, etc. (please note that hot foods are not permitted)

Those wishing to be a vendor must fill out an application form by Friday, Oct. 18.
